04-12-09... Perspectives: Dénouement [Easter 2009]

Easter Sunday 2009. We finish our walk through the of Book of Mark with the end of the dramatic complications of Jesus as the Mysterious Son of God. Our would-be tragedy has turned to anything but with the resurrection of our Lord. Jesus' rising from the dead is the basis for both the Hope and the Calling of Easter which we explore in this sermon.
10-12-08... Upon Thanksgiving 2008
After a look at Nehemiah chapter 9 where the people of Israel spend a great amount of time reflecting on God's greatness and thanking Him for what He's done in the past before ever asking anything of Him, Jason shared an encouraging perspective on Thanksgiving in poem form. You can read the text of the poem by clicking here ~Upon Thanksgiving 2008~ .
09-12-08... Retreat Session 1: A Women's View of What Makes Guys Tick
Our Fall Retreat on "Working it Out: finally you can understand a little more about himherhimherhi. . ." was a great success. With informal, laid back format, Carrie speaks on what she's learned about men. Unfortunately due the room we were in the recording quality is low, so be prepared.
09-13-08... Retreat Session 2: A Man's Journey Into the Female Mind and Behavior
Our Fall Retreat on "Working it Out: finally you can understand a little more about himherhimherhi. . ." continued as Jason shared his exploration into women's psyche. We explored what kinds of desires are longing to be met and how important of a role we have as men in their lives. Unfortunately due the room we were in the recording quality is low, so be prepared.
09-14-08... Retreat Session 3: Abiding as the Key to Relationships
On the heels of our Fall Retreat on "Working it Out: finally you can understand a little more about himherhimherhi. . .," our final session explores the intensely relational passage of John 15. There we see how our deepest needs and longings are met in Christ and how our relationships with people can be better as a result.
