Christians are sufferers . . . with a duty to trust in God

1 Peter 4:12-19

1. Do not be surprised

Trials feel fierce

Trials function as a forge

2. Rejoice

Major Point #1: Easy is not the epitome of success

3. Don’t be ashamed

4. Glorify God (in being named as Christians)

Major Point #2: Glory is the Greatest Good

Major Point #3: Doing the right thing won’t ruin your life -- ever.

5. Entrust your soul to God

God can save through a flood of hardship through the ark of Jesus Christ.

6. Do Good

What “judgment” is needed in at C!CPP? In your life?

We choose to do good because we can entrust ourselves to a Faithful Creator.
