God created us with a longing to know Him and His Story

One of the most important questions that anyone could ask is “WHY?”.

Why do I exist? Why is there evil in the world?
Why do I work so hard for happiness, yet feel so empty much of the time?
We believe that God created us with a deep longing to know “WHY?“. And based on the Bible, together with our experience confirming, here is what we believe to be the most important thing in the whole entire world:

“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.”

1 Corinthians 15:3-5
You see, the Bible says that we were all created in the image of God to share in His abundant life and greatness. However, humanity rebelled against God. God is a perfect being, and we are not, and therefore we have forfeited that original purpose. A Perfect God deserves all glory. Our imperfection deserves punishment.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal lifethrough Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 6:23
Oh, but there is Good News! God is the perfection of not only justice (punishing wrongdoing), but He is also the perfection of love! God sent His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life on earth, and through His death, which He didn’t deserve, we can gain back the life and godly relationship that we don’t deserve. In Christ, God offers us forgiveness of sin, abundant life on earth despite what craziness may come, and the hope of eternal life in heaven.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he [God] is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

1 John 1:8-9
You can choose life over death and receive the wonderful promises that flow from a relationshipwith Jesus Christ. It starts with humbly admitting that you, too, are imperfect and need Jesus as your Saviour. You can ask His forgiveness and trust Jesus’ perfect sacrifice to pay the penalty for your sins.  Ask Him to be the source and the Lord of your new life.

“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God rasied him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame‘.”

Romans 10:9-11
This is the absolute core of Christianity, and it is what distinguishes our faith from all others. We can never work our way into a right relationship with our Creator God. It is a simple faith in the power of His Son that saves us. We hold that this belief in salvation “by grace through faith in Christ alone” isthe unifying link that connects all believers of the universal church (Christians across denominations, nations, languages, and even time.)

If you’ve never done so before, would you consider praying to God to ask Him to forgive you in Jesus Name? Would you confess your need for Jesus and believe that He is the risen Son of God?

“But to as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born … of God.“

John 1:12-13
