The Kingdom Economy, Trust, and Enough

Exodus 16 is a picture of the Trellis designed by God, to guide His people toward the “Good Life”, that is the life of abundance and freedom that is found only when we live within the boundaries of God.

God is a King, and a Father, who owns everything and runs His Household on daily provision He distributes perfectly, inviting us trust, instead of a rival economy we quietly build.

5 Trellis-Building Truths on which Good Stewardship Grows:

(1) God is the source of all provision

(2) God’s provision doesn’t always come in the form that we expect (or want)

(3) God’s provision is (fundamentally and miraculously) enough

 - 2 ditches: Belied by plenty & Bogged down by lack

(4) Scarcity-mindset rots, but Abundance-mindset participates in God’s miracles

(5) God is the beginning and end of His provision
