Hatred of the World

Jesus prepares His followers to face the world’s hatred with sober-minded courage, knowing persecution is normal for those who belong to Him. We fix our strength in our Forerunner and Friend—Christ Himself—and in the abiding presence of the Helper who unites us to Him. With the Spirit’s power, Christ’s example, and the Father’s purpose for eternal fruit, we serve boldly, fearing God more than those who can only kill the body.
